Miami is a very multicultural city and so, as you expect, there is
a huge range of places, all with differing themes, to be explored.
It boasts entertainment in every category imaginable, from classical
music and performing arts, theatre, live venues, to night clubs and
bars. With Miami’s larger Spanish speaking contingency, theatre
often explores aspects of Cuba and the Cuban exile experience. Live
music in the form of open-air concerts are extremely popular in Miami,
and it’s rare that a month goes by without some such event
taking place. Miami Reggae Festival and Carnaval Miami, otherwise
known as Calle Ocho Festival, are both very popular, and tend t draw
the biggest crowds. Although some clubs can be extremely fussy with
who gets in (only the famous and the glamorous), most tend to be
casual, as long as you’re dressed in a suitable manner. The
endless amount of bars are normally thronged with fun-lovers who
continue to justify Miami’s reputation as a party city. The
